The Global Food Regulatory Science Society (GFoRSS) confirms its collaboration with the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization (Aidsmo.org), through the signature of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), by His Excellency Eng. Adel Sakr, Director General of AIDSMO and Prof. Samuel Godefroy, Board President and CEO of GFoRSS, further supporting the Arab Codex Initiative, implemented as a partnership initiative, between both organizations, funded by the US Codex Office, USDA and with collaborations spanning from Land O’Lakes Venture37 to Université Laval, Quebec Canada. The Arab Codex Initiative calls for enhanced Codex Competencies in the Arab region and a stronger and more effective participation of Arab Codex delegations in the proceedings of the Codex Alimentarius Commission. The Signature of the MoU was witnessed by Dr. Steven Wearne, current Chairperson of the Codex Alimentarius Commission.
أكّدت الجمعية العالمية لعلوم تشريعات الأغذية تعاونها مع المنظمة العربية للتنمية الصناعية والتقييس والتعدين من خلال التوقيع على مذكرة تفاهم من قبل معالي المهندس عادل صقر / المدير العام للمنظمة والبروفيسور صمويل جودفروى/ رئيس مجلس الإدارة والرئيس التنفيذي للجمعيّة وذلك لدعم المبادرة العربية للدستور الغذائي التي يتم تنفيذها كمبادرة شراكة بين المنظمتين، بتمويل من مكتب الدستور الغذائي الأمريكي التابع لوزارة الزراعة الأمريكية وبتعاون يمتد من إلى جامعة لافال ، كيبيك Land O’Lakes Venture 37 تدعو المبادرة العربية للدستور الغذائي إلى تعزيز كفاءات الدستور الغذائي في المنطقة العربية ومشاركة أقوى وأكثر فاعلية لوفود الدستور الغذائي العربية في أعمال هيئة الدستور الغذائي. تم توقيع مذكرة التفاهم بحضور الدكتور ستيفن ويرن ، الرئيس الحالي لهيئة الدستور الغذائي.
