Asia Codex is organizing a series of outreach sessions with / for the Codex Contact Points and delegations from South-East Asia, in anticipation of the 45th session of the Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC45). These outreach sessions will offer an opportunity to:

  • Introduce Asia Codex as an on-going Codex Capacity Enhancement Initiative with the intent to promote added collaboration within South-East Asia.
  • Discuss the creation of the South-East Asia Codex Roundtables, as an informal mechanism for engagement, coordination, and collaboration.
  • Enable enhanced preparation and readiness to discuss agenda items of the CAC45.
