GFoRSS and NIVS collaborate on the implementation of a capacity enhancement program on Multi-Residue Methods for pesticide residues in crops
The National Food Safety Institute of Suriname (NIVS) has kicked off a capacity enhancement program destined for its food laboratory testing staff on multi-residue methods for pesticide residues in crops.
This program is delivered as part of the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding and the collaborative agreement between the NIVS and the Global Food Regulatory Science Society (GFoRSS), along with the Food Risk Analysis Platform of the Institute of Nutrition and Functional Food (INAF – Université Laval) of Laval University (#PARERA) Quebec Canada.
The online sessions are designed to offer practical considerations for pesticide residue testing in crops.
The training will continue through the organization of physical training sessions in the laboratory facilities of NIVS, hosted by the Suriname Fisheries Institute (VKI).
Another milestone in the GFoRSS-NIVS collaboration and a step further in the operationalization of NIVS!
