BACKGROUND

The CCAFRICA25 side event on food additive standards harmonization and the foundations of underpinning scientific assessments was co-organized by the International Union of Food Science and Technology (IUFoST), the East Africa Business Council, and the Uganda Bureau of Standards – Prof. Samuel Godefroy, president of IUFoST and COO of the Global Food Regulatory Science Society (GFoRSS) co-chaired the session.
