The Global Food Regulatory Science Society (GFoRSS) participates in the 58th Meeting of the Arab High Committee for Standardization, held from 15 – 16 March, 2023, in Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco. GFoRSS reviewed highlights of the ongoing collaboration with AIDSMO LAS, including the progress achieved in the Arab Codex Initiative project, funded by the US Codex Office and implemented, in partnership, with GFoRSS, AIDSMO, and LandO’Lakes Venture 37.
GFoRSS renews its continued commitment towards the development of the Arab Food Standard Setting System, in a manner that promotes harmonization and convergence of food regulatory decisions, for the benefit of Arab consumers and to promote intra-regional trade of food and agrifood commodities.
