Inaugural Ceremony Special Address
Session VII: New Age Analysis in Food Testing Context Setting
Prof. Samuel Godefroy, current President of IUFoST and of GFoRSS, contributed to the opening ceremony of the 2024 Edition of the Global Food Regulators’ Summit – hosted by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) and the Ministry of Health and Welfare of the Government of India – by delivering opening remarks, highlighting the importance of the Summit to foster dialogue between regulators and to support the development of food regulatory solutions to current and emerging food safety and security challenges.
Prof. Samuel Godefroy, also contributed to and chaired the session dedicated to New Age Analysis in Food Testing, as part of the Global Food Regulators Summit 2024. This session enabled discussion of avenues toward the promotion of new technologies in food testing, including their integration, in food control practices by industry and regulators.
